Sherri Rasmussen had her married life before her, having been married just three months. Tragically, though, it was not to be as on 24th February 1986, she was killed in her Los Angeles condominium.

Sherri was very close to her father, who always knew who her murderer was; his daughter had told him. He shared his suspicions with two of the detectives investigating his daughter's murder; they were not interested.
The father and daughter were very close and would speak on the phone for hours in the evening. It was during one of these calls that Sherri informed her father that she was being stalked and harassed.
