How Wordle Saved a Life

Meredith became worried about her mother when she didn’t send her daily Wordle update to her.

Every morning with a cup of coffee, I open up my application and play my daily challenge of Wordle. I am not the only one; many of you may do the same. That was the same for eighty-year-old Chicago-born Denyse Holt. Every morning she would open the application, complete her game and send her results to her daughter, Meredith. 

When she failed to do this on 6th February 2022, Meredith became worried. This was unlike her mother. She tried to text her several times to see if there was an explanation. Those text messages went unanswered, which convinced Meredith that something had gone horribly wrong
