Leslie Van Houten Released from Prison

Having served over fifty years, does she deserve to live out the rest of her life free?

Usually, I try to stay away from the significant sensational cases as I believe they have been written about to such a level I could add nothing new. Charles Manson is no exception to this rule. There are films and books plenty about this murderous cult. 

Leslie Van Houten was a name that was associated with Manson when he was arrested. She may have escaped much of the initial interest as she was not part of the Sharon Tate murders; however, recently, she has bounced back into the limelight as she has been paroled after fifty years.

Does she deserve parole? This is the question many are asking.
