Teacher Shot by Six-Year-Old Student

As a teacher, I hope I am never put in this situation.

At 1115, a teacher within the school went to the administration and reported that Tom (fake name) had threatened another student. The administration did nothing to investigate these allegations. 

One hour later, Tom's book bag was searched by another teacher. They found nothing in the bag but still believed he had a weapon in his pocket. The administration was called, and they said they doubted he had anything as he had little pockets. 

At 1 pm, a teacher found a child crying; when she asked what was wrong, the child told her that Tom had a gun and had threatened to kill her if she told anyone. Again, the administration was contacted. They said the day was nearly over, so there was no need to worry. 

Shortly after this, Tom shot his teacher whilst she was sitting at a table reading to her class. He was six years old.
