Nearly 50,000 women served in the Canadian armed forces during World War II. One of these was Molly Lamb Bobak. Bobak was not only a Women's Army Corps member but became an official war artist in 1945.

She drew pictures of servicewomen both within Canada and overseas. Her artwork reflected her own experiences and those of other women.
