Peter Tobin is the United Kingdom’s most prolific sexual serial killer. He was convicted of murdering and raping three women, for which he received three consecutive life sentences.
He has been linked to many murders, including the infamous Bible John and Babes in the Wood killings. In prison, he has admitted to cellmates that he has killed ten women; some bodies found others remain missing.
For many years, his crimes went unnoticed. On occasions, he would seek out refuge in religious retreats. He was described as a religious man and knew scripture, as did Bible John.
