The Strange Story of the Girl Who Breastfed Her Father in Prison

When you write true crime, you find that people will recommend cases. Also, half the population expect you to know about every crime in the area. Have you heard about this murder or that murder?

Humanity is too screwed for me to know every murder. There are just too many of them. It was one of these conversations that led me to this case. My partner one evening asked if I had heard the story about the woman who breastfed her father in jail to keep him alive.

It transpires that the authorities had placed the man on a hunger strike. By hunger strike, I mean they refused to feed him. However, his daughter, who would visit regularly, couldn't bear to see him suffer, so she breastfed him.

When the warden noticed that the man was losing no weight, they became suspicious and found his daughter feeding him during one visiting session.

This was a story I had to research, so here is the story of the woman who kept her father alive by breastfeeding him in prison.
