The first time I heard about the World Fairs was when I read Erik Larson’s book, The Devil in the White City. I was initially drawn to the book by my fascination with HH Holmes, but I soon became captivated by the World Fairs.
My fascination with Victorian England led me to discover The Great Exhibition, one of the earliest and grandest fairs.
Today, we’ll explore three other Victorian fairs that introduced us to many inventions, many of which are now common household items.
